Tips before you go
Practical notes from operators, land managers and published sources — plus reviews written here.
This is the Inyo County park at 400 Tecopa Hot Springs Road, not the private Tecopa Hot Springs Resort nearby. The county describes two bathhouses with separate enclosed men's and women's mineral pools, plus a campground with more than 200 sites, some with electrical hookups. Flippin-Hamrick operates the park under a 10-year county agreement, and local reporting said the pools reopened on November 7, 2025. The county page still carries a Closure Notice heading above that announcement, so confirm the park is open before you go.
The concessionaire's site states that no bathing suits or clothing of any kind are to be worn in the baths, citing Inyo County Code § 12.16.350(D). Local reporting in November 2025 found images that appeared AI-generated or showed a nearby spring, Borehole Spring, that is not part of this park.
Sierra Wave reported 2025/26 soaking passes at $15 for a day, $75 for a week, and $250 for a month. The county page links a board-approved fee schedule and does not print those numbers itself, so confirm the current rate. Hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. were described by residents in that same reporting and were not confirmed by the operator.
