Contact
Hi, I’m Alex Duplechain. I built US Natural Hot Springs and I run it myself. Every message to the address below comes to me. It doesn’t go to a ticket queue.
What to get in touch about
Corrections to a listing
Is a temperature, road description, clothing policy or fee wrong? Please tell me. If you can, include the listing link and how you know (for example, you visited recently or it’s on the operator’s website). Reports from people who have actually been there are the most useful thing I get.
Closures and access changes
Roads wash out, trails close for the season, land managers change rules and some springs close for good. If something has changed, let me know and I’ll check it and update the page. For a quick update on a single spring, you can also use Report a condition update on that spring’s page.
If you operate or manage a spring
Listings are free, and you can’t pay for a better position. If your page has something wrong, or a place listed here isn’t really a hot spring or isn’t on your property, email me. Resort and bathhouse listings also have a Claim or update your listing button. Photos and your own water-temperature readings are welcome and will be credited to you.
Partnerships, press and research
Writing about hot springs, or want figures for a particular state? The road access report is free to reuse under CC BY with a link. For anything else, like collaborations or interviews, email me with a few lines about what you have in mind.
When to expect a reply
I read everything that comes in. I usually reply within a few days, and corrections that affect safety or access get looked at first. It’s a one-person site, so a reply can sometimes take longer, especially in the busy season.
Please note
US Natural Hot Springs is an independent directory. We don’t own, operate or take bookings for any hot spring, and we can’t make reservations, sell passes or answer questions about a specific facility’s hours or prices. For those, please contact the spring or resort directly.
Conditions change faster than any directory can keep up with. Before you go, check current access, closures, fire restrictions and safety with the land manager (for example the U.S. Forest Service, BLM, National Park Service or a state agency) or with the operator. Natural hot springs can be hot enough to scald, so test the water before you get in.
